Meet your hosts
Hi, we’re Tracy and Colin! We took over Westbrook Lodge in December 2020. We are a family run business and we have been putting our own colourful stamp on the Guest house to make your stay even more enjoyable.
We share a passion for classic cars—Colin owns a 1972 VW Beetle, and Tracy adores classic Minis and scooters. Tracy also loves the 1950s and '60s, especially the music and fashion.
Throughout the guest house, you’ll find art by Steven Brown, which we both love, and Tracy’s own photography is displayed in the bar. Plus, Tracy enjoys baking, so you might get a taste of that too!

Where is Westbrook Lodge Guesthouse located?Situated at 9 Westcliff Gardens, Margate, Kent, CT9 5DS, Westbrook Lodge is nestled in a tranquil residential area. It's just a short stroll from Westbrook Bay Beach and approximately 0.6 miles from Margate's main sands.

Do you offer breakfast?Yes, guests can enjoy breakfast options starting in the dining room, which accommodates up to 18 guests. Check out our breakfast menu here.

What types of rooms are available?The guesthouse offers 11 rooms, ranging from stunning sea-view en-suites to budget-friendly garden-view options with shared bathrooms. Room configurations include single, double, triple, and family options.

What amenities are available on-site?Guests have access to a cosy private bar, a tranquil garden area, and complimentary on-site and street parking. Additionally, there are nearby public tennis courts, and the guesthouse provides rackets for guest use.

Is parking available?Yes, there is free on-site and street parking, as well as courtyard parking for bicycles.

Do you offer space for cycle storage?Yes, we are very cycle-friendly and offer cyclists the ability to store their bikes in a bike rack in our private courtyard.

Are pets allowed?While pets are generally not permitted, guide dogs, hearing dogs, and registered assistance dogs are welcome. Please note: Although we do not allow pets, we do have our own pets that live on site in our private flat and are NOT allowed in the guesthouse, if you have any questions please messgae us.

Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?Yes, we are proudly LGBTQ+ friendly. Whether you're visiting for Margate Pride or are visiting the town in general, we welcome you.
